Commonwealth Emergency Physicians (CEP) is a physician-owned and managed Emergency Medicine group that was founded in 2001. We strive to provide Compassionate, Excellent and Progressive health care to our community.

Commonwealth Emergency Physicians (CEP) and Commonwealth Emergency Physicians - Mount Vernon (CEPMV) provides coverage to various Emergency Departments throughout Northern Virginia. Our annual census has increased annually from 33,000 to over 115,000 amoung all facilities since 2001. CEP maintains a superior employee retention rate and patient satisfaction scores that exceed the national average. Our group is comprised of Board Certified and Board Prepared physicians. CEP has developed and implemented processes to attract the most highly qualified and talented Emergency Physicians to maintain the highest standards of their specialty and continuously improve the care they deliver.
