Traveling with my wife and daughter, and spending time together outdoors.
Who gave you your best career advice? What was it?
Dr. Rob Glatter: "Listen to your patients. Listen, listen, listen." This sounds so simple, but is done by so few.
What's the most exciting thing on the horizon? Personal or Professional.
Watching the development of our young physicians as they turn into our new leaders within the department and the hospital.
If you were just starting your residency now, what would you do differently?
I would try to read every day after work, even if only for 10-15 minutes.
How will things change in emergency medicine during the next decade?
Hopefully, we will have EMR which is easy and intuitive to use like an iPhone. Our current use of technology in the hospital feels similar to using a computer twenty years ago...
