Acute Medical Providers (AMP) is an independently owned group established in Napa Valley in 2011. We are a close group of board certified Emergency Medicine physicians, Internal Medicine physicians, acute practice providers, paramedics, and support staff.
We have been recognized nationally for patient satisfaction, and many of our physicians have been Chief Medical Officer, Chief of Staff, and Chair at other large medical centers. Physicians have also been awarded physician of the year at their institutions and have had multimillion dollar foundation donations made in their name.
Our Vision
Our vision is comprehensive community care. This care begins in the Emergency Department and our patients then move to AMP providers in either our inpatient or outpatient settings. An AMP team facilitates the transitions to primary care settings, palliative care settings, as well as to rural residents and in-home care via telemedicine services. We also provide continuity of care with psychosocial service providers which is essential for whole patient health.
