Professionally: Telemedicine
Personally: Spending as much time as possible with my wife and three children.

If you were just starting your residency now, what would you do differently?
I would become much more proficient at ultrasound.

How will things change in emergency medicine during the next decade?
Scribe utilization will increase to meet increasing documentation demands. Access to primary care will get worse and we will see an explosion in telemedicine. ED visits will continue to rise. Hospitals employing specialists of all types will increase.
