ACEP 2015 | Network While You 'Dine Around Boston'

One of our favorite aspects of the annual ACEP Scientific Assembly, is the chance to enjoy local restaurants and cuisine in the cities we travel to. Lobster, oysters, and New England clam chowder are sure to be on our list of things to try in Boston. How about you?

Whether you are attending ACEP15 this year alone or looking to enhance the experience, the largest EM conference in the nation makes it fun to network with other emergency medicine physicians.

The ACEP Dine Around Program was a huge hit in 2014, so they have decided to bring the program back for the 2015 Scientific Assembly in Boston.

TCEP Advanced Practice Provider Emergency Medicine Review

The Texas College of Emergency Physicians will be holding its Fourth Annual Emergency Medicine/Acute Care Review Course August 13th-15th at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Emergency medicine/urgent care is a very rewarding and challenging practice, however, the broad knowledge base can sometimes be daunting for practitioners practicing in other disciplines or just finishing up formal training as an advanced practice provider. This course was developed for advance practice providers who were not formally trained in EM and want to develop the specialty skill set required for success in the acute care arena. The course is a great primer for 3rd year medical students or APP students who want to hone their EM skill set prior to clinical clerkships.

TCEP and Baylor College of Medicine developed a course to help bridge this knowledge gap, making the transition to EM/acute care more efficient for those in training and practitioners in other fields with interest in emergency medicine.

Winner Announced! | 2015 SAEM Annual Meeting

The 2015 Society for Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM) Annual Meeting in San Diego, CA, wrapped up on May 15, 2015.

This was the first time EMrecruits exhibited at SAEM and we were blown away by the number of attendees. In addition to the fabulous keynote speakers, we think it's safe to say that everyone had a fabulous time at the FUND Run, dodgeball tournament, and other events that were planned. The #SAEM15 conversation was fun to follow and we enjoyed getting to interact with a few of you.

The SEMPA 360 Emergency Medicine Conference at Disney's Contemporary Resort recently wrapped up on March 5, 2015.

Disney was a magical place for emergency medicine physician assistants and their families to come together for to discover the newest techniques in the field and learn from fabulous keynote speakers.

We're only a few days away from the 2015 Society for Academic Emergency Medicine Annual Meeting kicking off in San Diego, California. Will you be joining us May 12-15, 2015?

SAEM 2015 will bring together some of the most brilliant minds in academic emergency medicine to showcase their trailblazing research and share the newest advancements in emergency medicine education.

Thursday, May 14th, will be a fun filled day of events. Kick off you day by running in the SAEMF FUND Run , benefiting emergency medicine research and education, and that evening cheer on EM resident teams from across the nation as they compete in the SAEM Dodgeball Tournament .
