Winner Announced! | SEMPA 360 Emergency Medicine Conference in Walt Disney World

The SEMPA 360 Emergency Medicine Conference at Disney's Contemporary Resort recently wrapped up on March 5, 2015.

Disney was a magical place for emergency medicine physician assistants and their families to come together for to discover the newest techniques in the field and learn from fabulous keynote speakers.
 

EMrecruits was excited to once again be an exhibitor and enjoyed the opportunity to have in depth conversations with so many SEMPA attendees. Many of you showed interest is the opportunities we represent and we look forward to continuing the conversation now that the meeting has ended.

Oldest Practicing Nurse Celebrates 90th Birthday at Tacoma General

As if on cue for Nurses Week 2015, Florence "SeeSee" Rigney celebrated her 90th birthday o n May 8, 2015.

As the oldest practicing nurse in the United States, her coworkers wanted to honor their colleague with a very special surprise.

We're only a few days away from the 2015 Society for Academic Emergency Medicine Annual Meeting kicking off in San Diego, California. Will you be joining us  May 12-15, 2015?

SAEM 2015 will bring together some of the most brilliant minds in academic emergency medicine to showcase their trailblazing research and share the newest advancements in emergency medicine education.

Thursday, May 14th, will be a fun filled day of events.  Kick off you day by running in the SAEMF FUND Run , benefiting emergency medicine research and education, and that  evening cheer on EM resident teams from across the nation as they compete in the SAEM Dodgeball Tournament .

GEMG | California Emergency Physicians Group Expanding

Grossmont Emergency Medical Group (GEMG) is adding more licensed California emergency physicians and advanced practice providers due to an expansion project that is within a few years old. 

Sharp Grossmont Hospital’s state-of-the-art facility provides services to over 100,000 patients through their emergency department annually. The local area approved to enhance the facilities by approximately 90 patient beds, adding more ICU beds and Med/Surge beds to the upper floors of the facility. The enhancement allowed for more private rooms to have nicer amenities and features for the patients, which include flat-screen TV’s, and couches or reclining chairs for friends and family to utilize.
