GEMG | California Emergency Physicians Group Expanding
Grossmont Emergency Medical Group (GEMG) is adding more licensed California emergency physicians and advanced practice providers
due to an expansion project that is within a few years old.
Sharp Grossmont Hospital’s state-of-the-art facility provides services to over 100,000 patients through their emergency department annually. The local area approved to enhance the facilities by approximately 90 patient beds, adding more ICU beds and Med/Surge beds to the upper floors of the facility. The enhancement allowed for more private rooms to have nicer amenities and features for the patients, which include flat-screen TV’s, and couches or reclining chairs for friends and family to utilize.
